Terms and Conditions.

General
  • An online application must be completed for each participant and include the following: Photo, Copy of Passport and European Health Insurance Card
  • Participants are responsible for their own flights and must advise of flight details at least 6 weeks in advance of arrival, except in the case of late applications
  • Hebe Adventures reserve the right to relocate a student to another Host Family in the unlikely event of an emergency at the Host Family's Home 
  • Participants agree to respect the property of their Host Family and accept house rules
  • Hebe Adventures reserves the right to remove from the programme any participant who consumes alcohol, breaks the law or who engages in dangerous or inappropriate behaviour which puts their own safety or the safety of others at risk. No refund will be provided in these circumstances
  • The Host Family may host other participants of a different native language simultaneously. They will have separate rooms unless otherwise agreed upon. 90% of Hebe trips only have one student in a home simultaneously.
  • There will never be two students of the same nationality in a Host Families' home simultaneously.
  • Hebe will provide 24/7 support and assistance to students and parents.
Financial
  • All prices are quoted in Euro
  • A refundable deposit of 50% is due on booking. The balance is due 4 weeks in advance of arrival.
  • For bookings made 6 weeks or less in advance of arrival the full amount is due on booking
  • A full refund is available up to one day in advance of participants' arrival. No refund is available in respect of camp bookings (camps are run by local third parties, we can’t control their refund policy)
  • Hebe Adventures reserve the right to cancel any programme for which full payment is not received by the due date
  • No refund will be given to participants who withdraw from the programme before the finish date
Medical Emergencies and Insurance
  • Insurance is included for bookings and a copy of the policy schedule is available on request
  • Students travelling from EU countries should bring their European Health Insurance Card
  • Should a student become ill any costs incurred are to be reimbursed by the participant's parents/ guardians, and claimed back via insurance if applicable
  • The possibility exists of transport delays, cancellations due to weather conditions, industrial disputes or other causes. Hebe Adventures is not responsible for any repercussions, financial or otherwise caused by circumstances amounting to Force Majeure
Liability
  • Hebe Adventures acts only as an agent between its participants, host families & activity providers
  • Hebe Adventures accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss, illness or accident suffered by a participant during the programme, howsoever caused
  • Hebe Adventures nor the Host Family is responsible for a participant’s personal possessions
  • It is a condition of enrollment that students accept full financial responsibility for any damage caused by them to the Host Family’s property/ possessions
Guardianship
  • Participants must advise of flight details at least 2 weeks in advance
  • Accommodation requirements must be agreed upon at least 1 month in advance. Changes after this time may result in an accommodation charge
  • The Expense Fund is required 2 months in advance of arrival
